A zentangled butterfly !

Hi my crafty friends..
Today for the first time I tried my hands with zentangling and must say I loved it :)
So this is a layered card I made today with a zentangled butterfly in the focus.

So lets see how I made it with my 5 months baby continuously distracting me 😁
I started out with a blue and a pale green colored assorted paper.
Cut them to size and pasted on the blank card.

Cut out a butterfly from the pale green paper using a dummy stencil I have made from a used sticker set 😁
I generally dont throw away the sticker set after using as I sometimes use them to draw outlines of the objects.
Then drew a zentangle pattern on the butterfly using pencil and later colored it using a teal colored sketch pen.

Then to give some dimension, i used a carboard cutout in the same size to paste the butterfly and a sticky foam base to paste it onto the card.

My craft partner keeping an eye on everything 😁 Hope he develops an interest for the same πŸ˜‹

Then I made use of some silver, teal and blue-silver glittery tapes to form borders and across the butterfly.
Sprayed some silver paints with the brush on the blue cutout and some blue paints on the pale green cut out . Painted some white drop downs above the butterfly. Added some glitters on the drops and on the butterfly.
Stenciled some mini butterflies on the left corner of the card and near the Stamped sentiment.
Painted the pale green portions with yellow so that the color resembles lime green .
Was taken under the fluroscent light when the colors were not dry...so the creases.

A quilled best wishes card

Made this quilled flower Bouquet card :-) Happy with how it came out 🌼🌼
Hand painted the background and border.
Wrapped 3 thin sticks with paper and bound them together by threads. Stuck the sticks to the card and designed the quills around it.
Made use of some floral embellishments as well.
Pasted a yellow paper tape across and put some golden beads on it.
Added a cute golden butterfly to the bouquet as well :)
Finished the card with a best wishes sentiment on a rectangle die cut ( with pattern ciutting scissor)...painted that as well to give the card a put together look.

Hope you liked the creation.

Best wishes :)

Helloz !!
Yes, that's my messy crafty place with a bowl of Maggie beside :P

Today I will be sharing a Best wishes card I made with color papers , quilled flowers and pearl white stones.
First I cut the color papers and to select the papers I took cue from
and pasted them according to the below sketch from MFT challenges.

I cut the circle myself from a white ivory card base. Pasted the glue back crystals around it . Then I made the quilled flowers from Red and yellow quilling strips and attached them as shown.
I stamped the flowers and the sentiments.
Used some quilling strips to make little ladders along the sides :D

Thank you Teacher !

Hello my dear crafters  :)

I made this layered card tonight for my neighbour's son as he wanted something to gift his teacher on the upcoming teacher's day here . It's on September 5 and is celebrated in the honour of the late honourable first president of India  Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan who was also a great teacher of the time .

The centre image with the inbuilt sentiment is a digital printed one . I stamped the borders and colored them with colour markers. The borders are scored with scale and the wavy borders are hand drawn . Attached a sequinned lace to one side of the layer.
The colored papers which are used for layers are of 80gsm. The base card is from ivory card stock.

I will be adding more pictures of the card tomorrow morning clicked in proper lighting.
